Musicians background and contact info:

JOHN MACCORMACK  –  providing   lead guitar,  bass, vocals

John has been a performing musician in Kelowna since his youth. As a guitarist, singer and song writer – he is a c0 -founder of the musical family group which traveled extensively throughout Western Canada as the popular entertainment and recording band known as Shamash. With high energy covers and original  works they became one of the most popular show and dance bands on the road. They  performed as the opening act for Gino Vannelli and Fludd. John came back to Kelowna to settle down to family life, but kept his musical energy alive with such bands as Fancy That, High Henry, and Connection. Past and present, with an inherent knack for arranging strong harmonies, these involvements led to the formation of the popular Johnny Mac Trio and now Glory Days Duo.

LINDA MACCORMACK  – providing keyboard, vocals

Linda, a Calgary native, also part of a musical family taught organ and keyboard in Calgary as well as Kelowna for several years. She has performed as a soloist for weddings, lounges, and parties and in various groups such as Sunflower, Take 5, and Connection, Johnny Mac Trio – and now Glory Days Duo. She has a masterful knowledge of keyboard sequencing and layering. This understanding allows her to create full orchestral  back-up appropriate to popular music styles.  Piano, organ, strings, brass, synth, bass, steel drum – the list is lengthy and diverse – as is their repertoire.

Both musicians have a great deal of on-stage experience, and generate a lively, engaging sound – on point harmonies, a sense of humor – appealing to mixed-age audiences. Professional, friendly,  check the feedback page to see what  others have said about them.
